Frances draws inspiration for her art and writing from the natural landscape that surrounds her.
Frances Boudreaux, a native of Central Louisiana is a practicing author, artist, and gardener who regards these activities as life-sustaining and rewarding. Frances and her husband, Ken, a master wood-crafter, gardener, and musician encourage and support each other in their creative endeavors.

Frances
For many years, Frances has actively supported disenfranchised individuals in her Community and has held leadership positions in several nonprofit organizations whose missions were to help the disenfranchised.
Frances currently serves as board chair for Glass Act Recycling, is an active member of the Alexandria, LA Garden Club, is a practicing artist, and author of poetry and plays. She previously published a memoir titled “Where the Sun Don’t Shine and the Shadows Don’t Play.”
Frances’ advocacy for victims of child abuse and survivors of domestic violence, as well as her work teaching sustainable gardening practices to adults and youth, inspired her latest book for children entitled “A Saving Place”.
